Though Pune is land-locked, good beaches are not far away. Within a travelling time of 3-5 hrs, there are dozens of beaches on the Konkan coast for us to visit on a weekend. Alibaug is the closest beach from Pune, but it does not have a reputation of being clean. If you want to blindly choose one, go to Diveagar beach.
