Thoseghar Waterfalls in Satara during the monsoon
I had been to Thoseghar last weekend (Aug 7/8). The monsoon was still on and it was constantly drizzling. Thoseghar was at its best with the waterfalls in full force. Below are some photos and also a video (a new addition to my blog) from that trip. If you want to see more photos and also get directions to Thoseghar, check the post from my previous visit.
Amazing images. I would love to visit satara, famous for Ajinkyatara Fort , Sajjangad Fort & Chaphal. But i also want to share more places in satara which you can explore.
Thoseghar is very thrilling and amazing but be careful it is very slippery and risky.
One should not be very smart & casual. Be careful and enjoy the nature’s beauty.

I am planning to visit this place ….. after seeing the scenery .. WOW!!!!
this is amazing.. i myself am a waterfall enthusiast.. and was amazed that the internet has no mention of thoseghar as one of the highest falls in india.. the height might be faulty but then most falls in india dont have nicely surveyed height plus many are still hidden in the wild.. am sure there are many more falls in india tall enough n giant enough to be discovered.. this one is rocking.. good one.. thoroughly enjoyed ur post.. the video n the pics.. rare collection i must say..
